Old Buckenham or Tibenham - Jimmy Stewart

I have been sent the following photos and asked for my opinion as to where it is, and which site it is. My view is that its at Tibenham but I am not sure which site it is on, what do you all think?

I know you like a challenge, so how about this one, the guys at NGC were looking at this picture and trying to identify where it was taken, they had a set of airfield plans, but not the knowledge about airfield buildings, they said they had located the spot, but I am not so sure. I think they are thinking of trying a then and now shot if possible.
Looking at it, there is a large Seco (I think) hut, and probably a transformer plinth? also some houses in the background. It looks like Stewarts rank is Captain, so it should be during his time at tibenham, but I suppose old buck is a possibility.

Any ideas what the big building is with all the windows?

The building shown on Google would seem to be new. No such building is shown at the location in the 1946 aerial view.



I think I can glimpse the top of a cottage or house in the background at top right of the photo Rich posted, or am I imagining things?

James Srewart, as a Colonel, was appointed Commanding Officer of the 2nd Bombardment Wing of which Tibenham was a Bomb Group. He seems to have stayed with that Wing through his time in England. The Headquarters of the 2nd BW was at Hethel so, could this be the location?

Could be within the grounds of Ketteringham Hall ? Above photograph can be seen in the link.

Just discovered by scrolling down a little on the link photograph the caption says Tibenham

This is when he was a Major receiving the Air Medal. Actual location not given but could be the same occasion?

Not sure if his facial expression is smugness or condescension , after all he was an actor.

I've got a similar photograph when he was awarded the Croix de Guerre with Palm by Marechal Valin, at Ketteringham, though it does not say which year.
