What vehicles were used to deliver bombs to the Type D open stores?

A firm called COOPERCRAFT do a lorry which typifies those in civillian service at the time, keep an eye on e bay its an AEC Monarch availible as a flat bed, dropside or dropside with stake extensions. There isn't a dropside on e bay at the moment . The Austin I posted a picture of would not be used by contractors.

perhaps the idea was that it would be safer if the road was narrow so the trucks had to stay on it facing one way

More likely it used the minimum amount of concrete.
