The last Heyford picture is Scampton, this pic is owned by the local rag so one has to be careful with copyright! We have a proper pic in the archives. The other Heyfords might be the same. Would like to buy a copy of the fort though, where did this come from?

I wonder if the fourth pick might be Spittlegate, they are (as PTE has already said), 1916 GS Flight Sheds with timber frames clad in corrugated iron. The small building on the right looks like the watch office which was still there until c.1990. And as I am nearly always correct!! LoL!

I think the first picture of Heyfords is taken at Finningley. The book "Finningley and Blaxton 1900-1974" shows a very similar line up of 7 sqds. Heyfords c.1936
