The diameter of the 'ring' of holdfast bolts is less than nine inches.
A single LAA gun such as Vickers or BREN would most likely have had a simple tubular mount located in a socket so a holdfast implies something heavier in the 20mm range. There were some lighter mounts for the Oerlikon......
