I recently purchased a Unipower Forester that was used by the RAF and then ended up at Heathrow finishing it's days with BAA in the late 1990's. We have started on the restoration of it which is going reasonably well as it has dry stored for most of it's life and well maintained. Photo below of how she looked when she arrived:

The main reason for joining this site is to try and find some more information out about the Unipower. In particular the type of jobs it would have done and if anyone has any photos of her in use.
Hi all,
I would like to take a second to introduce myself.
I am based in Wiltshire, and have a keen interest in old airfields & enjoy taking photos so my two hobbies mix quite well.
I am trying to get to as many airfields as possible & photograph as many buildings as I can before they are lost forever.
I am no expert on airfields, I just do what I love doing & look forward to becoming a part of this excellent research group.
All the best,
John.
Hi John, Welcome to this forum, you have the perfect interest [old airfields] to become a part of this ''Excellent Research Group''. Look forward to seeing your contributions.
Hi John welcome to the club there still an awfull lot of airfields up & down the country to visit & photograph .
So you should find plenty to keep you busy .
Regards ,
Bomber.
Hi,
This is probably a silly question. But how do I post pictures to this research group? Do I start a new thread or reply to an existing thread?
Regards, John.
