There are many tales about the final resting place of the dog, some say he was removed to another airfield either Waddington or Marham and another was that the airmen detailed to bury him couldn't be bothered and simply threw his body over a hedge.

Wednesday 5 July and West Lindsay District Council meet this evening to decide Planning Application No. 146711 "Listed building consent to remove the railings ,excavate and remove the grave marker and any zooarchaeological material for relocation ."

It should be an interesting meeting !

Yes and I believe the case is going to the High Court for a decision ?
