There are many tales about the final resting place of the dog, some say he was removed to another airfield either Waddington or Marham and another was that the airmen detailed to bury him couldn't be bothered and simply threw his body over a hedge.On a couple of occasions during visits to scampton I have been told that there is some doubt that the dog is actually still under the headstone in that small compound and it may have been moved/removed during the 50s/60s

Will that be enough to stop them?
Can't government overrule local decisions?
Yes and I believe the case is going to the High Court for a decision ?
