Its great we can now edit our posts but is there a way of deleting our own posts. For example I posted a question up with I since found on another thread. The post is not pointless and I wanted to delete it. Is it possible?

Rich

It is possible but I turned off that feature due to users deleting too many of their own posts and destroying the flow of a thread.

Any MOD can delete it for you let us know and it will be gone.

If you click on the report to moderator button on the bottom right of each post the message will go direct to all moderators and will be dealt with
it has the advantage of including a reference to the post you are on, and would look somthing like this for your post

Report Reason: No longer required - duplicate
Report Message: I found the answer elsewhere

The edit button and therefore the ability to edit posts is currently time limited.

Please use the "report to moderator" button at the bottom right of each post to let us know which post and how we can help

Thanks
