Thank's for the comment Rich (Hydealfred). That was without a doubt the most impressive BBMF display i've ever seen last Sunday. It's hard to beat having all the aircraft flying overhead, so low with the Fighters performing tail chases whilst the Lanc and later the Dak made several very low passes.
I was lucky at a recent event at Tangmere in July with BBMF Spitfire AB910 - it put on the best display I have ever seen by a Spitfire and it left the audience in awe -

Great to meet Stevie at Duxford today no-doubt he will show some far better photographs than mine later. It was a very good show with mostly nice weather, though a chilly breeze later on. But a nice day out.

The final display of the day was shared by the Hunter and Mustang (Ferocious Frankie) a joint sound of the old and new together. It was great! especially the very fast + low flypast by the Hunter.

Yep!! The blue note from Miss demeanour on that last fast pass sounded fantastic.
Great to meet up with Airfields Man today and my airshow buddy James. The show may have lacked a 'star item' but it was the usual well organised and varied line-up that Duxford do so well every time.
. Gotta wait a whole six months before the show season starts again (sob sob!)
Lovely pics there. Especially like the last but one of the Sea King.
A bit late with these but here's some from the RAF's only remaining September Battle Of Britain Air Show at RAF Leuchars...possibly the last one ever at Leuchars???
