I have been scanning some shots in from the 80's. I have these two showing as Bentwaters 1986. Which airfield has the trees near the runway - is it Bentwaters or Woodbridge as I think my Bentwaters ident could be wrong. Can anyone remember if airshows were held in 86 at either airfield. Thanks for any help.

I'd suggest both photos are of Bentwaters rather than Woodbridge.

First one is definitely Bentwaters as you can see the Victor Alert sheds behind the trees. I'm guessing the second photo of the Starfighters is at Bentwaters too but I don't recognise the hangar in the background, it looks like a B1 as the roof is too high for a T2.

Thanks all - I had Bentwaters written on the photo wallet and I think the above confirms this. Again thanks for clearing that up.
