A few from a few weeks ago at Reading, Pennsylvania. A great show which was attended by both airworthy B-29s although only Fifi flew during the show. Doc arrived on the Friday but remained in the static park through the weekend.

The Fiat is still to fly. It will be nice to see it paired up with the Gladiator at a future Flying Legends.

Was the Fiat the type that was used by the Italians in the Battle of Britain, the early stages? I seem to recall a photo of a shot down Italian biplanes in Kent.

Yes it was, Peter. It is often forgotten and rarely mentioned that the Italians were involved in the battle too. They used a few Fiat types - the BR.20 medium bomber, G.50 Freccia fighter and the Falco. There's a great photo about halfway down the following Daily Mail article (some of the others are pretty good too!) -
