Saw this earlier today along the B4011 between Thame and Long Crendon, just a mile or so from where I live. Haven't any information right now...

According to the interweb it was an instructional airframe at Cosford until recently, when it was sold into private hands and ended up at Bentwaters. It looks like it's on the move again.

Paul ~ the following link shows it being transported down the M6 in June.

Guess that it may end up being temporary garden furniture like an EE Lightning did in Chipping Norton if BCC have accepted that its a recycled leaf blower ?

Many thanks for that Dave, don't know how long it may have been there but only noticed it today and I go up and down that road three or four times daily. Hope to discover soon what the plans are to do with it. Garden furniture would be such a disgrace and waste !

This Jet Provost featured in a TV programme on Quest were it's Viper engine was removed and put into a speedboat . The boat also carried the serial number 'XW432' .
Worth a watch if you haven’t already done so ; www.jetpower.co.uk/engine_addict.htm .
