Good evening everyone.
I would be pleased for some help in identifying the airfield in the attached picture as well as anyone's best guess of the approximate date.

Something seems to have gone wrong as there is no attachment. Can you try again? Also use the INSERT option on the attachment so it appears within the post rather than as an attached file.

Wow, you're right. Very similar layout to Prestwick including relationship to the coast. I note you only answered 1/2 the question though!

Agree Brawdy, sometime before construction of the three T2s across the end of the short runway. I seem to recall that these hangars were reputed to have been relocated from St Davids, and looking at St Davids in the shot there appears to be three large hangars still there. An interesting photo that I've not seen before.

V-bomber disperal and runway extension not yet constructed, so photo likely to be pre-1961.
