Hi folks

The other day I was visiting a memorial on a Halifax crash site, as its an agricultural field its ploughed up every year. I found this on the site and wondered if anyone could identify it at all. It has a hole at the round end and has sheared off at the flat end, so its not a full item.

Length 7" not total length as incomplete object
Width 1 & 7/8"
Thickness 4/16"
Hole dia 3/8"

Rough measure due to the thick rust on the object
