Where is this Handley-Page O/400?

Further to my recent post on the Pulham St Mary thread, I have been given clearance to post the
[IMG]/community/144410=16296-HP O-400 D9703.jpg[/img] copyright picture herewith of a Handley-Page O/400 (D9703) which was recently discovered in a collection of pictures taken at Pulham — only the more I look, the less like Pulham it seems to be.

In the background are a blimp hangar with wind-screen to the right of the doors (as viewed from inside) and a gasometer. The picture does not appear to match the Pulham airship station layout; and the next best bet of Cranwell (because that particular O/400 was based there) does not seem to work, either.

I am open to ideas.

The reason this photo does not match the official plan of Pulham is that the latter is inaccurate! Further photographic references have established, beyond any doubts I might have, that the picture WAS taken at Pulham within a few months of the end of WW1.

The exact cause of the previous problem was the positioning of the wind deflection screens at each end of each airship shed. These were, hitherto, believed to have been fixed in their locations, but it seems that they moved about a bit.

This is the first evidence I have seen that Pulham was used by aeroplanes -- other than those dropped from an airship during experiments.
