Checking the maps and aerial photos, Brough seems o be a good match for the roads and hangars, but cant see that jetty in any of the views

anyone else?

The jetty looks to be wooden so may not have lasted long in that position

Brough, without a doubt. The three-bay 'North Sea Hangar' is under construction to the left. It is still visible on Google Earth today, together with the hangar at the base of the slipway -- both now surrounded by later buildings. The straight line of the northern boundary to the airfield is also clear.
