Seemed a bit too dispersed for farm buildings. Last time I got excited about an interesting hard-standing area found on a 2.5 inch map, it proved, (after a 50 mile detour one day), to be a 1960s caravan park!

6 RCAF Bomber Group (organisation, airfields, squadrons, aircarft, and their 70 crashes in Belgium (location, crew, evasion lines, cemeteries, PoW Camps, etc...). Busy for a couple of years !!!!!!
Probably chicken/turkey sheds. One of the country's biggest chicken processing plants is located in a village not far from Metheringham. Those at the top left look like they are used for free-range birds, judging by the look of the land in the immediate vicinity of the sheds. The sheds at the bottom appear well dispersed, perhaps because they contain housed birds and the owners want to minimise the risk of the spread of disease.
In respect of the interst to the two sites that you have looked at i can confirm that they are not of ww2 origin and that indeed they are something to do with Agriculture. The buildings are not old enough to be of the 30s-40s era. But well spotted anyway.

I figured the buildings were newish, but it was the proximity to Digby which had me wondering.
