Unidentified Airfield

About a week ago i was driving north on the A148 between Fakenham and Holt when i saw an airfield to my left.I couldnt look too much as i was driving and no obvious place to stop but was wondering which base it is.Thanks in expectation. NEIL

Snoring is not visible from the 148.

I suspect you were still to the west of Fakenham heading east in which case you caught a glimpse of Sculthorpe.

Well, he did say he was heading north although the road runs northeast that's why I decided it wasn't Sculthorpe.

Sorry about that,you are quite correct.In saying i was heading north it was a generalisation to illustrate that the airfield appeared on my left hand side.I dont know if any of you are familiar with these airfields first hand but all you could see from the road through the angled barbwire fence was a single storey bunker type structure and a very large rusting oil type tank.Sorry to be so vague.The only obvious clues were that it looked almost well kept,none of the usual debris laying around,no overgrown foliage.
