Help

I recently asked for five files from DSTL (Porton Down) under the FOIA. I received four but they said they did not hold

Report on the Testing of Radiological Contamination in Building 45,Rhydymwyn ENV/E97017/Report Final

Can anyone help me with which government Department may hold it? DECC?

It appears that ENV files may be DEFRA

ENV-prefixed reports at TNA appear to originate from the Environment Branch of the NCB's Coal Research Establishment. :confused:

Having said that, if ENV is for the late Environment Agency, then their files could well now have been absorbed into those of DEFRA for sites in England, earlier records may have been filed by the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions.
EA projects in Wales were transferred to the National Assembly for Wales in 1999, slightly earlier ones may be in the Welsh Office records.

Hi CB: That place you are interested in - is it where they were working on U235 up to mid-WW2 before the work went to the US? If so, there was a bit about it on the Prof Brian Cox TV programme last night - Science Britannica?
