Wasn't WX853 at Salisbury Hall in the 60's?

i attended Bredon school in Tewkesbury, this had a fledgling ATC in the early years which only lasted a few years then it moved to the local town, the school had 2 aircraft, a meteor and an Anson cockpit, they had both gone by the time i started, but more interestingly they were situated next to what we called the farm, a place for students from an agricultural background to learn about farming and growing, it was a Victorian manor house. i believe this may be that aircraft, however i have never seen a photo of it and most Victorian style walled gardens look the same,.

I've just had a quick shufti on WtP. Around SO509370 maybe? I'd like to zone it down a bit further, but I'm about to make the Much Beloved a drinkie (my turn) before Top Gear.

Salisbury Hall???

Definitely NOT Salisbury Hall. I have worked there for over 20 yrs on aircraft. I would also go along with a DH Venom or Vampire. The Haircuts seem a bit too long for National Service !!

Thanks for the input.
I thought the same about the hair but the NS bit is one of the only bits of info that I have been given by the family.
I know it still doesn't mean that it's definitely true though!

Yes, I'm back(ish).
