Unknown (non military)? building near Cranfield.

Today I photographed this building at Salford, near Cranfield airfield. I go past here most thursdays often wondering what it used to be. As there is never anyone around to ask, I just took some quick pics and moved-on. Could be an old Chapel i suppose? Any idea's ?

This one is to replace the red X in the above box, seem's to be a lot of those cropping-up now !

I'll give up then !!
