I've pinched this from Key Forums , any ideas where it was taken ?

As deduced by them. Alconbury.

In fairness, Agcat on Key identified the pic as Alconbury first, but PB confirmed & supplied the pic here of the nose docks.

Indeed, Agcat got the location right first.

As a way of further confirmation of it being the nose docks at Alconbury, the water tower on the far left of the photo is in the ordnance stores compound, the GCA radar trailers are on their hardstand near the junction of the old and new main runways, on the stump of Clay Lane.

I'm guessing the white Lancaster is at Leuchars because of building orientation.
