Airfield with Initial J.P was created by Mags
I have recently come into possession of a relatives Flight Logbook Circa 1941 - 1944. in it he lists flights from J.P. to Lyneham 20 minutes, Lyneham to J.P. 25mins, Hurn to J.P 30 mins, I'm pretty sure it is somewhere in the South West but have drawn a blank as to where it may be.
He was in the RAF but seconded to BOAC.

Any info would be appreciated please.

Thank you

Do you happen to know the aircraft type he was flying on these flights? Might help work out distance / cruise speed to find the name if no-one else knows it right away?

According to the list produced by Daveg4otu on this thread:
/community/showthread.php?6123-Aerodrome-two-letter-codes

JP is indicated as Wolverhampton, however that is seemingly too far!

What does it say JP is in the audit thread which I can't find at the moment.

Many many thanks to all who have replied to my query, I'll try and give a bit more info.

Aircraft Type includes Whitley, Dakota, Oxford.

Some alternative Logs include:

Aircraft, Oxford - JP - Croydon 1.10
" Dakota - Chivenor - JP 1.10
" Dakota - Lyneham - JP .55
" Whitley - Lyneham - JP .35

All other flights he names the Airport so JP is the only initials he used.

Whitchurch was I think his home Base.

Don't know if any of this makes sense.
