ID location of this airfield/equipment photo?

Another photo from the Life magazine collection. Caption reads "A brewster fighter plane from America coming in crates to the RAF airfield on a RAF truck that brings it from the ship."

Where is it and is the caption accurate?

I would say that since Brewsters were not used in Great Britain (as far as I'm aware!) and the personnel seem to be dressed in tropical attire, that this was the far east somewhere, possibly Australia or Singapore.

Its Singapore, the hangar is type A

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!
