If the sewage works on the NE corner of the same field was originally for Tempsford airfield, then these are on the line a sewer pipe would take from the dispersed site that was in Everton village.
In the last photograph the village of Everton is just beyond the trees, while in the first photograph the famous barn is just above the top of the telegraph pole.
Checking the RSP the base sewage works seem to have been in the SW corner of the airfield, by the railway crossing, so this may simply be the sewage pipeline for Everton village.
Many thanks Paul for your time in finding out exactly what those two lumps in a field are. I go past them every week [have done for ages] and as I had my camera today thought that I would photograph them just incase they were airfield connected? and look what they ''Turned-out'' to be
Theres a similar line of drains at Finmere although not sticking out of the ground like that & the heading is generally in the direction of the sewage works.

...Why me .. .. do I haff to? ..I know some people far more suitable to that sort of job who would feel more-at-home as well, and they live close-by. I would even take 'em there for nothing !!!
