can anyone identify this airfield, the chap standing to the far right is my Uncle who died this year 'Peter Dictas' did his stint in the RAF before becoming the CO of the local ATC for many years, just trying to build up a bit of a portfolio of his service. thanks for any help in advance

i am now convinced that the 2 pictures are indeed nothing to do with one another, the era is the same, probably the same year but they are unrelated, st.Athan would be likely, due to the proximity of Porthcawl, but it would be nice to have a definite result. cheers
