This pic has been gnawing at me for a while. This trailer has been modified with two supports added to hold a Harrier fuselage. Hence I'm guessing that its origins are RAF. Brockhouse? Eagle? Does anyone know please? I fancy a large scale model, so details like wheelbase, track etc. would be greatly appreciated. There should be an image below...
Looks like a GP Trolley with the platform removed. Versetile but, in my experience, was used to transport 30mm ADEN gun ammo in H60 packages. An exact number at 60 pounds gross each could be carried in a double stack, a rim around the platform holding the boxes in place. A simple (removable) tubular frame supporting a roll down canvas cover was provided as weather protection.
Just found a data sheet in my collection (Attached)
