So !

What takes off from RAF Leeming around 9.30 this morning, took 20 mins+ to ascend to 10,000 feet then flew, almost in a direct line to Reykjavic at roughly 100mph. It landed at 17.30

Not a helicopter as first suspected as it clearly used the runway on landing.

The callsign was 'BLOCKED'

I've no idea. Answers on a postcard...

Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite

'BLOCKED' has just taken off from Iceland. Is he going back to Leeming?

EDIT after 20 mins. No seems to be heading west to North America, after all it is a USAF aircraft
