Are these MOD boundary posts for Wedgenock rifle range or something else?

Just east of the North east corner of the Wedgenock rifle range i came across a series of what i assume to be M O D boundary markers the side bearing the words mod face the range boundary they run along side a section of disused quarrying which is shown on O S mapping at 1:2500 as to pools they also are on the edge of a public footpath and are close together seemingly marking the edge of the pools..if they were to warn users of the footpath not to stray on to the rifle range then they are on the wrong side of the footpath .Tentatively i wonder if the quarry /pools might have been used for an assault course or similar.The approximate grid reference (i can sometimes be rather poor at this )is SP 277 683 the photo's inserted show the northernmost of the posts and the pool it borders the unincluded photo's show all the posts that there appear to be .

interesting; the range appears on OS maps at the same time Budbrooke Barracks do. The barracks were closed in the 1960s The MOD dates from 1964 (I think). There are some posts somewhere on here relating to WD or AM boundary markers I wonder if any survive here. I wonder when the range was disposed of by MOD.

So its lilely my dad used that range in 1940 whilst training at Budbrooke barracks.

I HAVE JUST googled wedgnock mod and came across Wedgenock the incredible history which informs me that the site was under the Mod until 1990 and that thre were large amounts of unexploded ordnance still there when it was taken over .Perhaps another possibility is that the site was used for exploding unexploded ordnance >
