The first named is unclear as the TNA logo partially covers it (There wasn't enough in that file to warrant paying £3.50). The squadron were based at Bircham Newton and using Hinds at that time. My theory is that those places are in Sussex and are Friston and what is currently Hungerhill Farm, but I don't want to rely on just a theory. I thought Friston was already in use before the war, possibly operating under the name, Gayles Farm and also used by the RAF in the pre-war period. Hungerhill Farm is just south of where the Coolham ALG was and probably had a barn and looks nice an flat.
