Current Air Photos: France was created by P Bellamy

The coverage of France in Google Earth and Live Maps etc. has always been pretty poor, which can be annoying at times.

However, the French IGN have their own online service, which although a bit slow and sulky, has good resolution images: www.geoportail.fr/index.do

Italy had a similar one but it seems to have gone.
