I thought we had covered this earlier?

I registered a few month back and on the face of it it doesn't seem that different from plain GE. Things that I have noticed is that resolution is slightly betteralthough not always noticable and you can sve high quality extracts of the current view. This saved time on the stitching of multiple screen grabs.

Some years ago I paid for Google Earth Pro because it allowed me to import large numbers of Placemarks from files. The basic version limited you to about ten at a time.

I noticed the enhanced zooming and decided to take measurements of markers shelter at Holmpton that has long since fallen into the sea. It was difficult with the blurred edges and shadows but I got a reasonable measurement. However I have noticed that an MS of known sizes can measure up as completely differently especially between different dates. I suspect this is partly due to the software that plots the aerial photo and partly due to the attitude* of the photographing aeroplane but it does mean that smaller items cannot be accurately measured. Shame when most are no longer there!
