OM: JCB is broadly correct although there is some overlap between the books. Robertson concentrates on prime movers rather than ground support equipment, giving significant coverage of nomenclature and colour schemes. Adkins gives coverage of tractors, refuellers, snow clearance and salvage, but also he covers access staging, jacks, cooling trollies etc which are topics that Robertson did not cover. The photographic coverage in both books is excellent and if you can get hold of both you will not be disappointed. Out of interest, the published price of Robertson was GBP9.95 - a good investment at the time it was published (1983)!
