I notice that the Britain From Above now allow use of their images on personal blogs and website with various restrictions of course. Many airfields can be seen, particularly in the prewar images.

I'm struggling with downloading some of the PDFs listed under the Resources tab, they just 'hang'. You need these to fully understand what help they are looking for. Maybe a local choke so I will try again tomorrow.

I was logged into NCAP and that locked up this evening. As it is a sister sister I assume they use the same servers as BFA. Annoying as I was checking out some new ranges I had come across! Hopefully it is an overnight maintenance thing.

The "Britain From Above" historic archive is now FREE in high resolution and it is *incredible*. 96,000 photos of landscapes, cities and buildings - many long-lost, many extraordinary.


Have they made higher resolution images available?
