I have been looking at AA sites in Scotland and noticed that coverage of the Orkney Islands has been extended on the Getmapping site.
Skeabrae, Twatt and Hatston are now viewable. Kirkwall was available on Google Earth only for some reason.
These are also avaialble via the maps on 192.com which offer bigger areas to view and much closer that Getmapping.
Fairisle is also available (Shetland or Orkney??) and it is interesting to note that the view is little different from the one that the Luftwaffe took early in the war (see Canmore for a pic)
The coverage of Scotland has improved a lot but still lacks Dumfries for some bizarre reason.
All we need now is Tirre, Port Ellen and Edzell (I think).
