AvSitesIreland previously IrishAvSites

Hi Everyone, it's being a while sinse I lasted posted to the forum. Some of you may remember my website IrishAvSites, back in 2009. Fast forward to 2020 to the RENAMED AvSitesIreland and the link to it avsitesireland.com/ .The old site became unmanageable, so the decision was made to make major changes in order to simplify all, and the only way to achive that, was to start from scratch. The long lead-in header explains the changes or you can just skip those and scroll down to the start of the fully searchable main NOTES-LOGS-LISTS file. While it can be opened on all devices, it is best viewed on a desk top or laptop. For now I am consentrating on the NLL file, where ALL text data will be compiled for each site. Two other old files are still shown. Sitedata and Maps. Sitedata is slowly being incorporated into the NLL file and will be disgarded when that process is complete, in about 10 years time (2030) by my estimate:blink: :S . Simply because there is a MASSIVE amount of data to be included. A small section of the original MAP file is still available, but is out of date and locked at 500 sites. A new mapping and photo section will hopefully be added over the coming years. Mwanwhile no (new) maps or photos will be available. A brand new addition is The Historical listing of all aircraft used by the Irish Air Corps since 1922 is available now on the website. One point I should mention. If any of you still have the old "IrishAvSites" links please delete them and replace them with the new link. I meant to hold on to that title, but with all the upheaval going on, I forgot. I now see the Chinese have got hold of it. This link is still active on some old posts that I put up years ago and I thought I changed them all to AvSitesIreland on 01.10.2020. They are showing the change, but still open on the Chinese site. Is there any way to convert them to the new title AvSitesIreland, or failing that, deleting the link. Or is the only option left, and that is to delete the whole post.

Thanks for trying Peter, but I see link at the bottom of my postss, which I 'physicaly' changed myself to AvSitesIreland on my profile, is still opening on the Chinese site.

Hi REF, as you will notice I have renamed my website. I just came across your 'links' list from 2008 which is showing the now defunct title of IRISHAVSITES. The new title is Aviation Sites In Ireland-The Historical Database and the link is now avsitesireland.com .I accidently let the old title slip through my fingers and a chinese crowd picked it up. You will see what I mean if you click on it, or maybe you would prefer NOT to. Thanks in advance.

Not sure how to get into direct contact with REF, so I would be oblidged if this post could be passed on to him. Thank You.

Thanks to the behaviour of a certain person I no longer have any input to the forum and rarely contribute anymore. You will need to speak to the current ARG team to get the relevant post amended.
