Picking one at random around the right period for my current research I spent 30 mins on: CAB24 267. It has a table of contents at the beginning which I'm unsure how it works, but contained:
pages 46 to 75: Expansion of the RAF (Possibly Scheme 'H' which was abandoned and became 'L')
pages 113 to 151 and 318/9: Development of Civil Aviation in the UK Now this turned out to be a goldmine as it's the Maybury Report which I researched several years ago. However the only relevant document I found then was an incomplete copy of the report with the appendices missing. This CAB file contains the entire version.
pp 232 to 248: Progress in Defence Requirements, then The Role of the British Army.
There's reports on kids in coal mines, Cable & Wireless and minister's salaries; something for everyone. Beware you could spend most of your life browsing these documents. I suspect you could then enter and win Mastermind.
I'll have to check these again as some were free to download, although you had to go via the shopping bit, but others were not free. There are a number of use to me and one in particular was the use of inland air to air firing ranges. Sadly I had already seen the draft document but it was good to know it actually went to cabinet and Churchill.
I last looked at CAB about two years ago though.
