Black and White and Color Photographs of U.S. Air Force and Predecessor Agencies Activities, Facilities and Personnel - World War II and Korean War, ca. 1940 - ca. 1980

I found it very cumbersome to search and typing in "Concrete Bombs" to see the context of the ones kebecker posted yielded none of those photos!

I have often found this with site related searches and often thought that it was like spotting something out of the corner of your eye. Fold3 is similar and the best results are found by searching for something else. My wife has found the same problem with Ancestory and Findmypast where a specific search yields nothing but a fuzzy search does. In her case the older versions of the websites DID yield results on specifics but they have been "improved" since then
