I have seen a copy of this magazine before but the archive the link points to contains all issues. It is clearly a propaganda fuelled view of the war but contains many interesting photos. I have yet to look at 1944 onward but the early editions contained much on the Russo-Finish War and the brave Finns. Later the Russians were our called our brothers and sisters. Such is the politics of war.

Interesting. I clicked on the entry for June 13, 1941, at random. On page 2, a column marked "Nazis Stage Air Raids" informed me that raids on Scharnhorst and Gneisenau were so accurate, the Germans had added their bombs to the tally by sprinkling them around the port for terror effect on the French. A ruse detectable by differing splinters.Who knew?
