One Last Look

I have just brough a copy (after looking for it for years) at a reasonable price via abe books, I'd highly reccomend it as there are loads of nostalgic photos in there. Very similar to the Echoes of East Anglia but on a larger scale.

Both are out of print but copies are around. Excellent photos.

Yes, I agree the three thats mentioned are excellent books !! Two others by Kaplan that I've got are: Fighter Pilot and Bombers. Both of the same style, though the Fighter Pilot does show pictures of the 1990s Air Force jumping in between the 1940s pages. Another book of the same design I have is by Jeffrey L. Ethell and Robert T.Sand. This is called Fighter Command, American Fighters in original WW 2 colour. A few of these photographs are from the Mediterranean but ninety per cent are ETO. As Bob Sand, as he's referred to was a ground crewman serving with the 55th Fighter Group at Nuthampstead and Wormingford most of the photographs are of aircraft at dispersal etc. A really good book, first published in the USA 1991.
