The Halifax File

Between 1974 and 1979 the Halifax File author RN Nick Roberts from Leeds also compiled and self published a series of aircraft crash logs which like the Halifax File are superb reference works and equally hard to find . The full set comprised ;

Aircraft Crash Log No 3 : Short Sunderland ; June 1977
Aircraft Crash Log No 4 : Armstrong Whitworth Whitley ; March 1978
Aircraft Crash Log No 5 : Boulton Paul Defiant ; July 1979

The Air Britain 'Files' series also now runs to several volumes and includes such aircraft as the Anson , Hampden , Hornet , Lancaster , SE5 and many others .
