Excellent! Nice to see that the Dutch value their relics. That said, I suspect that the only reason it has not been demolished is the sheer mass of the bunker. Just not cost-effective.

It sounds as if they want to preserve it as "art".

At its new location, the bunker was turned and positioned onto the new foundations at an angle. It was placed into the landscape as an ‘Objet Trouvé’- an object found by an artist and displayed with minimal alteration as a work of art.

I have seen news reports of other similarly large military structures being moved but it could well be the demolishing would cost more.

Very odd to call it art as a "Found Object" and it looks as though it will be bedded in at an angle to the horizontal as if it was sinking. Still is is preserved and I it had to be moved or removed anyway.
