Waltham Rural Life Museum was created by netcompsys
The Waltham Rural Life Museum at Waltham Windmill near Grimsby has an exhibition are dedicated to RAF Grimsby with many photos artifacts and a diorama of the airfield

The corrugated iron-roofed Nissen hut which houses the Rural Museum was originally the dining hall for the WAAFs during the Second World War. At that time RAF ground staff were housed in billets where Mill View is now,

Opening times
Easter until the end of September

(Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holiday Mondays)
Open 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
During local school holidays

Daily Tuesday to Sunday

Also present is a preserved vintage railway carriage in use as a Tea Room and Ice Cream Parlour
