76 Sqn Halifax III LK789 - Researching the crew

I have recently had an email from a gentleman researching the crew of Halifax III LK789 which was from 76 Sqn at Holme On Spalding Moor.

Can anyone help with the crews and the operational history of this aircraft. Or any photos or the crew and aircraft.

Richard

Hi Richard have you to thought to put a enquiry up on the German Night fighter board which covers all the NJ G's claims and bonus is its in English too. Sorry the one above does not seem to be available at the moment, for some reason. But this may help there are very many sites dedicated to this type of material now. Not so even 8 years ago when I researched the loss of my Uncles A/C over the Skagerrak, As I did It through a Danish Air historian at kew who happening to be writing a book on the German retreat from Norway in the December 44
P.s as you and I know this sort of thing does take a lot of time and sometimes not easily accomplished.

Would it be one of these two ? You will have to look at the source file to see how this is laid out as copy and paste doesn't do it justice
