RAF Brize Norton Unveils a New Gate Guardian to Celebrate 80 Years .
On Friday 13 October 2017, a new gate guardian was unveiled by a former Station Commander of RAF Brize Norton, Air Commodore (Ret’d) Jonathan Ager and Flight Sergeant Emily Young, an Air Cadet from No. 2267 (Brize Norton) Squadron, Air Training Corps. Representatives from across the base and past members of RAF Brize Norton watched the unveiling of the sculpture which depicts the earth to signify the global operations undertaken at RAF Brize Norton and the current aircraft based here.
The sculpture was created by Mr David Harber, an Oxfordshire artist, who runs a family business which has produced award winning artwork for projects worldwide. #Brize80 #rafbzn #bzn .Full story available here: www.raf.mod.uk/rafbrizenorton/newsweather/index.cfm…

Thanks David, I had seen that article and one on the RAF site having been made aware of it via an article in the Oxford Mail
I was hoping that someone had proper photos of it and I was wondering if sculptures was the New thing on RAF stations
