Ive just joined this site.
My main area of interest is around RAF St Mawgan and RAF St Eval.
I started reseaching several WW2 crashes that occured within a 10 mile radius of these 2 stations and surprised how many there were.
Most of the info Ive found comes from the Davidstow crashlog, but ive also been visiting some of the local cemeteries and speaking to some of the older locals in my area.

A fascinating area of study I should think. I assume from what you say you have visited the cemeteries at St Eval & at St Columb Major. The Cornwall Police War Diary is a good source of info & I believe the Davidstow website has utilised that. For American planes the Missing Air Crew Reports that are available through the Fold3 website are worth a look. Keep us posted on how it all goes.
