Finally got around to it......

Despite many good intentions, it's taken me a while to get around to this!

I'm Bob and I live on the east coast of Norfolk. I retired a couple of years ago, having spent all my working life around offshore supply vessels. A rather strange career choice, considering I always wanted to be a pilot. However, the day job gave me the money to do the things I enjoy, which include learning to fly ten years or so ago.

As I carry my camera each trip I have managed to build up a small archive of airfield shots for Norfolk and Suffolk, as well as a couple from further afield. If I can work out how to do it, I'll try to post a few over the next few months.

I've been an ATC instructor for quite a few years as well. I do recall meeting Richard Flagg a long while back, on a flying detail up to RAF Wyton. In fact it was his card that gave me the link to the web-site!

Anyway, that's me - looking forward to some interesting reading on the site from here on in.
