I have had a long standing interest in WW2 bomber bases and the RAF in particular.
I've spent many a holiday in Lincolnshire over my 54 years and known its affiliation as Bomber country. Nearly moved their 15 or so years ago.....
Last year, I finally got round to visiting some of those bases that are left before they either disappear or are gone completely or I do!
I am going again next week for part 2, any advice is welcome regards gaining access etc to some as I see some landowners are a bit pricky. I would always ask rather than trespass.
