My name is Steve and I found this site whilst researching on RAF Bird Control Units. The reason being is that i own an ex-Military LWB Land Rover Series 3 which I have converted to represent a RAF BCU and I am always looking out for photos, history, stories, equipment etc relating to the job.
I take my Landy to several shows each year and it attracts quite a lot of attention.
i would love to hear from anyone who can help me with my research as it makes it all the more interesting for visitors when I can tell them about the job and equipment etc.
I was particularly interested to see that Daihatsu Fourtracks were used and it would be great to own one of these if one can be tracked down and is as an ex-military vehicle.
