Hi im from blackpool been into aviation since a kid as my dad was fireman at warton so got to go to there open days .i have just had a visit to wartons heritage centre and that has realy got me wantin to do some investigating my local airfields as you know theres blackpool and stanley park airfields ex raf weeton ex raf kirkham naval airfields inskip and burscough and still active warton (bad 2 ) and woodvale and just down M6 USAF burtonwood .
Lookin foward to advice on how i can get started from any members and posibly doin some tours of local sites
