Hi Looking for information regarding 2830 sdrn was created by ChrisMulley
My father was in 2830 sdrn and went to Scotland for training before going to Norway and then he went to the Middle East.
Would like to find out more and may also be able to pass information to others.

Presumably you are refering to 2830 Squadron (Sqdn) , RAF Regiment
The national Archive has reference which says
discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C7159338
Unfortunately the document it refers to is not currently digitised and so available for download

2830 Squadron RAF Regiment. Based at Southend and moved around other UK stations including North Weald (Essex), Brandy Bay (Dorset) with 78 Wing, and Macmerry (East Lothian) with 13 Group. Joined 88 Group in May 1945 and moved to Norway (including Gardermoen and Bardufoss); then returned to UK"

I have my Fathers service record and some archive material is it possible to contact people who have previously posted very new to the site and still learning.
